Canola Cash Bids Rise Across Western Canada
The latest canola cash bids across Western Canada have been reported as of October 2, 2026. According to PDQ, the average deferred prices in Canadian dollars per bushel for various regions are listed below.
Producers in Northern Alberta (NAB) saw an average spot price of $17.18 per bushel, while those in Southern Alberta (SAB) received $17.49. The bid prices for November were slightly higher at $17.20 and $17.54 respectively.
The bids for the rest of the provinces also showed a steady increase from October to July 2027. For example, the average spot price for Western Manitoba (WMB) was $17.36 per bushel in October but rose to $17.82 by May 2027.
