Canola Futures Hover Near Range Top Amid Mixed Signals

ICE canola futures were showing small gains on Thursday morning as the market remained stuck in a sideways trading pattern.

The November contract was up C$5.80 at C$830.90 per tonne, holding within its trading range of the past month between C$815 to C$840 per tonne.

A firmer tone in crude oil lent support to world vegetable oil markets, but Chicago soyoil was softer in early activity.

The Canadian dollar's weakness against the US dollar underpins crush margins and makes exports more attractive to international buyers.
