At the United Nations General Assembly, Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney has taken center stage, advocating for middle powers to band together and preserve the international order. Carney has rejected US trade demands and walked away from talks last month, instead courting other prospects such as becoming the European Union's first associate member.
