Cedi Sees Slight Decline Against US Dollar on September 22

The Ghanaian Cedi's value against the US dollar has seen a slight decline on September 22, 2026. According to Cedirates.com, a reliable platform for tracking currency and fuel rates in Ghana, the average buying rate stands at GHS11.66 and the selling rate is GHS12.02. At forex bureaus, the Cedi trades at GHS11.80 for dollar purchases and GHS12.15 for dollar sales.

The Bank of Ghana's interbank market sees the cedi trading at GHS11.54 for buying and GHS11.56 for sale. The British pound is trading at GHS15.39 for buying and GHS16.32 for selling, while the Euro is trading at GHS13.17 for buying and GHS14.00 for selling.

Money transfer services LemFi and Taptap Send are offering dollar rates of GHS11.52 and GHS11.54 respectively for remittances from the US or UK to Ghana. For digital subscription payments via Visa and Mastercard, the exchange rate stands at GHS12.38 each.
