CEE Region Braces for Busy Week of Economic Data Releases

The Central and Eastern European (CEE) region is preparing for a busy week of economic data releases, including flash inflation estimates and 2Q26 GDP structure. Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, and Czechia will report their respective flash inflation numbers, with the Eurozone HICP releases expected to show a marginal increase.

The GDP structure in most CEE countries is unlikely to bring any major surprises, but it will provide insight into how growth was driven by domestic demand versus net exports. In addition, retail and industry sector performances in July will be published for Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia.

Other notable releases include manufacturing PMIs for September in Czechia, Hungary, Romania, and Poland, as well as trade data in Serbia and Slovenia. Producer prices will also be released in Hungary and Romania, while Czechia is scheduled to publish wage growth figures.
