The US government has confirmed that Chinese hackers have breached several government networks and critical infrastructure. The affected departments include the Federal Reserve, Department of Justice, Department of Energy, Department of Health and Human Services, NASA, National Institutes of Health, and the U.S. Senate.

According to a DOJ news release, the hackers used two platforms, 'QScan' and 'QTRouter', which were allegedly created and operated by the Chinese state-sponsored group 'QTFY'. The feds say they have seized these domains to cut off the hackers' access.

The Attorney General, Todd Blanche, stated that federal law enforcement investigated and disabled the malicious software used by the hackers. He emphasized that state-sponsored hackers preying on America's critical infrastructure will be stopped and prosecuted.
