COFER Data: USD Share Falls as EUR Reserve Value Rises
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) recently released its Currency Composition of Official Foreign Exchange Reserves (COFER) data for Q2 2026.
According to Goldman Sachs Research, the headline share of U.S. Dollar (USD) reserves ticked down during the past quarter, but remains just above the low reached in Q4 2025.
The valuation-adjusted share of Euro (EUR) reserves increased, while Japanese Yen (JPY) reserves declined. Other reserves remained roughly stable.
