Commerzbank Issues Euro Benchmark Notes With Market Stabilisation Framework
Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft has announced plans to issue euro benchmark senior non-preferred notes due in 2030, as part of its EUR90bn Medium Term Note Programme. The notes will carry a 4NC3 structure and are aimed at institutional investors seeking bank credit exposure in the euro market.
The bank has appointed itself along with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Deutsche Bank, and Royal Bank of Canada as stabilising managers to support orderly trading and pricing in the secondary market. This framework is designed to adhere to EU market abuse and stabilisation regulations.
Commerzbank regularly issues senior and non-preferred debt instruments to maintain liquidity and manage its funding and capital structure. The bank's continued active presence in euro benchmark funding underscores its commitment to accessing institutional investors and managing its financial obligations.
