Crypto Market Defies Global Tightening, Bitcoin and XRP Climb Amid Regulatory Progress
The Federal Reserve and Bank of Japan have both increased interest rates by 25 basis points in recent meetings, creating an unusual global tightening backdrop for risk assets. However, this move has not deterred Bitcoin and XRP from rebounding sharply.
Bitcoin has recovered to near $84,000, trading above the sub-$76,000 levels seen after the Fed decision. Holding the former $82,000, $83,000 resistance band would keep $87,000 and $90,000 in view. A loss of $80,000 would weaken the breakout.
XRP has also gained nearly 8% in the latest session and reached approximately $1.49. A clean break above $1.50 could support targets around $1.60 and $1.75, while the $1.35, $1.40 area now forms an important support zone.
