Cuba's Informal Currency Market Sees Dollar and Euro Rise Amid Inflation

The average value of the US dollar (USD) is now 770 Cuban pesos (CUP), while the euro (EUR) stands at 870 CUP. The MLC, or Freely Convertible Currency, shows a limited data set with an indicative value of 506 CUP.
Compared to the previous day, the dollar has increased by 10.5 pesos and the euro by 5 pesos. Looking back over the past month, the US dollar has gained 92.5 pesos (13.7% higher than a month ago) and the euro has accumulated an increase of 102.5 pesos since it stood at 768 CUP a month ago.
