Digital Realty to Raise CHF508.4M from Swiss Franc Notes Offering
Digital Realty Trust, Inc. has announced a significant financial move with its Swiss franc-denominated notes expected to generate approximately CHF508.4 million. The offering, priced on September 28, 2026, includes three series of notes: CHF225.0 million of 1.6803% Guaranteed Notes due 2029, CHF185.0 million of 2.0600% Guaranteed Notes due 2032, and CHF100.0 million of 2.4150% Guaranteed Notes due 2036. These Swiss Franc Notes, issued by Digital Constellation B.V., a subsidiary of the company, are set to be released on October 6, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
The notes are senior unsecured obligations guaranteed by Digital Realty Trust, Inc., its operating partnership, and Digital Intrepid Holding B.V. The offering is being conducted outside the United States under Regulation S of the Securities Act and in Switzerland with an exemption from the obligation to publish a prospectus. The proceeds from this offering are earmarked for various purposes, including temporarily repaying borrowings under the company’s global revolving credit facilities, acquiring additional properties or businesses, funding development opportunities, and providing working capital and other corporate purposes.
Additionally, Digital Realty Trust has commenced an offering of Euro-denominated Guaranteed Notes through Digital Euro Finco, LLC, another subsidiary. The Euro Notes will also be senior unsecured obligations fully guaranteed by the company. The final terms of the Euro Notes will be determined at the time of pricing, and the offering is subject to market and other conditions. The company plans to allocate the net proceeds from the Euro Notes to finance or refinance Eligible Green Projects, which include renewable energy, energy efficiency, pollution prevention, and other environmentally sustainable initiatives.
