Dollar and Euro Rise Against Hryvnia as NBU Sets New Exchange Rates

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has announced the official exchange rates for August 19. The US dollar rose by 8 kopecks to 44.77 UAH, while the euro increased by 3 kopecks to 51.83 UAH.

Compared to the previous day's exchange rate, both major foreign currencies have strengthened against the hryvnia. This change is a slight increase in their value.

The NBU also announced the launch date for the new 2,000-hryvnia banknote, which will be introduced soon.
