Dollar Declines Against Iraqi Dinar in Baghdad and Erbil
The US dollar's value against the Iraqi dinar has declined in both Baghdad and Erbil. On Saturday, August 22, the exchange rate hovered around 154,000 dinars per $100 at the close of the week's first trading session. In Baghdad, the dollar fell to 154,100 dinars per $100 at the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya central exchanges, down from 154,300 dinars in morning trading.
Currency exchange shops in Baghdad sold $100 for 154,500 dinars and bought it for 153,500. In Erbil, the dollar also declined, with exchange shops selling $100 for 154,000 dinars and buying it for 153,900.
