Dollar Declines Amid Rising Oil Prices

The US dollar experienced a decline in late trading on Wednesday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, fell 0.52 percent to 100.886 at 15:00 (1900 GMT).

Against other currencies, the euro rose to 1.1452 US dollars from 1.1387 US dollars in the previous session.

The British pound was also up, reaching 1.3364 US dollars from 1.3289 US dollars in the previous session.
