Dollar Dives as US-Iran Tensions Ease

The US dollar experienced a decline against its major peers at the start of Asian trading on Monday after the US paused its bombing campaign in Iran.

Oil prices plummeted, with Brent crude dropping by 4.7% to $92.19 following the US military's decision to temporarily halt strikes.

A senior Iranian official told Reuters that Iran will halt its attacks as long as the US does the same, citing a China-led push for renewed diplomatic efforts in Pakistan to end the war.
