Dollar Dominance Continues as Oil Prices and Yields Remain High
The US Dollar has continued its upward climb, reaching new heights against major peers. Oil prices and Treasury yields have remained volatile, contributing to the dollar's strength.
The euro has dropped by 0.24% to $1.1344, hitting a three-month low. This fall is concerning as it may signal a move below its late June levels, which would be a one-year low for the currency.
The pound and Swiss franc have also weakened against the dollar, falling 0.2% and 0.03%, respectively. The greenback's strength cannot be attributed solely to domestic European factors.
