Dollar Edges Up as Investors Await Iran Deal News and Jobs Report
The US dollar ticked up on Thursday as investors awaited more information on a proposed U.S.-Iran deal and looked ahead to Friday's U.S. jobs report.
The Japanese yen, which had seen some intervention-led gains earlier in the week, retreated slightly to 157.85 per dollar after modest declines over the past two sessions.
Despite giving back some of its intervention-driven gains, the yen remains well off a multi-decade low of almost 164 reached in July.
