Dollar, Euro, Pound Rates Spike in Pakistan's Currency Market

The foreign exchange rates in Pakistan's currency market have been updated for September 28, 2026. According to the latest figures, the US dollar is trading at Rs278 in the open market, while the British pound has reached Rs378 and the euro has climbed to around Rs322.

The buying and selling rates of major foreign currencies were recorded as follows: the US dollar was bought at Rs277.95 and sold at Rs278.20; the British pound was quoted at a buying rate of Rs373.25 and a selling rate of Rs377.65; the euro was bought at Rs316.53 and sold at Rs321.68.

The open market rates also show that the Australian dollar was bought at Rs196.25 and sold at Rs201.35, while the Canadian dollar was bought at Rs196.73 and sold at Rs201.75. Among Gulf currencies, the Saudi riyal was bought at Rs74 and sold at Rs74.55, while the UAE dirham was bought at Rs75.75 and sold at Rs76.40.
