The U.S. dollar experienced mixed signals over the weekend, rising against the Vietnamese dong while dipping to a three-month low against the euro.

In Vietnam, the dollar gained 0.11% at the official exchange rate of VND26,310 per dollar, according to Vietcombank, and added 0.04% on the black market at VND25,910.

Globally, concerns over the U.S. Treasury's plan to expand buybacks of longer-dated government debt weighed heavily on the greenback, causing it to fall to a three-month low against the euro on Friday.
