Dollar Gains Ground Against Iraqi Dinar

The US dollar experienced an increase against the Iraqi dinar on Wednesday, with rates fluctuating across various exchange locations.

In Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, the dollar traded at around 154,500 dinars per $100 at Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, up from 153,850 dinars a day earlier, according to market data compiled by Shafaq News.

This rise in value was also observed in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, where the dollar sold at 154,300 dinars per $100 and was bought at 154,250 dinars. Meanwhile, local exchange shops in Baghdad reported selling prices reaching 155,000 dinars per $100, while buying prices stood at 154,000 dinars.
