The US dollar held steady at Rs278 in the open market on September 24, while other currencies fluctuated. The British pound rose to Rs373 and the euro reached Rs316.
In the open market, the dollar was bought and sold at Rs278 and Rs278.25 respectively. The pound's buying price was Rs373.25 and selling price was Rs377.65. Meanwhile, the euro's buying price was Rs316.58 and selling price was Rs320.98.
The interbank market saw a slight variation in prices, with the dollar quoted at Rs277.10 for bank buying and Rs277.60 for bank selling. The pound's buying price was Rs366.81 and selling price was Rs367.47. The euro's buying price was Rs315.28 and selling price was Rs315.85.
