Dollar Index Reaches 99.809 Amid Late Trading
The U.S. dollar experienced a slight strengthening in late trading on Monday.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, rose by 0.27 percent to 99.809 at 15:00 (1900 GMT).
The euro lost value against the dollar, trading at 1.1542 dollars from 1.1564 dollars in the previous session.
The British pound, on the other hand, gained ground, reaching 1.3509 dollars from 1.3499 dollars in the previous session.
