Dollar Poised to Outperform Euro Amid US Growth and Rising Rates
The US dollar is poised to post its largest monthly gain against the euro in 14 months as the European currency struggles with energy and debt concerns.
According to Reuters, the dollar has reached a year-high versus the euro, driven by strong US growth and rising interest rates, which contrast sharply with Europe's economic woes.
The euro dipped to its lowest point since May 2025 at $1.1312 and remained near that level at $1.1356 as of 6:43 am ET on Wednesday.
