Dollar Prices Plummet in Iraq's Baghdad and Erbil Markets

The US dollar has opened trading lower in Iraq on Sunday, hovering around 155,000 dinars per 100 dollars. The price drop was observed in both Baghdad and Erbil markets.

A market survey conducted by Shafaq News found that the dollar traded at 155,250 dinars per 100 dollars in Baghdad's Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, down from the previous session's 156,800 dinars. In contrast, exchange shops in the Iraqi capital sold the dollar at 155,750 dinars and bought it at 154,750 dinars.

In Erbil, selling prices stood at 155,350 dinars and buying prices at 155,250 dinars. The fluctuations in the dollar's price may impact currency exchange for residents and businesses operating in Iraq.
