The US dollar gained strength against the Vietnamese dong on Tuesday morning.

However, on the black market, the dollar declined by 0.19% to VND25,950.

Globally, the dollar was near a two-month high due to volatile oil prices and rising Treasury yields.

The euro traded at its weakest level in three months against the US currency, while sterling remained steady.
