The US Dollar Index (DXY) has fallen below 100.00 after July's Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) showed a decline in jobs, contrary to forecasts of an increase.

This week will be crucial for the US economy as Wednesday's Consumer Price Index (CPI) report is expected to show inflation at 3.4% year-over-year and 2.5% on the core measure.

The Federal Reserve (Fed) had previously been seen as likely to hike interest rates, but markets have reversed course following the NFP miss.

The EUR/USD pair has ended the week above the 1.1550 region, near two-month peaks, while the GBP/USD is trading near 1.3500 as it closes the week.
