Dollar Set for Largest Monthly Gain Against Euro Since 2024
The US dollar is on track to post its largest monthly gain against the euro in 14 months, thanks to the strong economic growth and rising interest rates in the United States.
According to data, the euro dipped to a low of $1.1312 on Tuesday, its lowest level since May 2025, and it traded nearby at $1.1339 in Asia today.
The dollar is up nearly 2.5% against the euro this month and is poised for a third straight quarterly rise, with the stronger greenback also pushing the Australian dollar below 70 cents for the first time since early August.
