Dollar Soars Against Iraqi Dinar in Baghdad and Erbil
The US dollar gained value against the Iraqi dinar in both Baghdad and Erbil on September 19, trading at around 160,000 dinars per $100.
In Baghdad's central exchanges, Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya, the dollar opened higher, selling for 159,750 dinars per $100. This marks a slight increase from Thursday's open price of 158,850 dinars.
Meanwhile, in Baghdad's currency exchange shops, the dollar was sold at 160,250 dinars and bought back at 159,250 dinars per $100.
In Erbil, exchange shops reported selling $100 for 159,450 dinars and buying it for 159,350 dinars.
