Dollar Steady Ahead of Fed Rate Decision Amid Rising Yields
The US Dollar (USD) has remained steady near its two-week high of around 99.60 in early European trading on Wednesday, September 16.
Market analysts are closely watching the Federal Reserve's (Fed) interest rate decision later today, with a nearly 92.4% probability that the Fed will raise rates by a quarter of a percentage point, according to the CME FedWatch tool.
A recent rise in US Treasury yields has contributed to the Dollar's firming, with the benchmark 10-year yield trading at 4.992%, its highest since 2007.
