Dollar strengthens euro weakens in Ukraine on October 5

The official exchange rates in Ukraine saw notable shifts on October 5, 2026, with the US dollar climbing to UAH 44.98 and the euro dropping to UAH 50.53. Compared to October 2, the dollar gained 15 kopiykas, while the euro lost 16 kopiykas. These figures, published by the National Bank of Ukraine and average bank rates from minfin.com.ua, provide only a partial view of the market.

At banks, the US dollar was trading between UAH 44.76 and UAH 45.28, while the euro ranged from UAH 50.48 to UAH 51.16. Currency exchange offices offered slightly different rates, with the dollar available for UAH 44.80 to UAH 44.99 and the euro for UAH 50.80 to UAH 51.20.

For card transactions, PrivatBank listed the dollar at UAH 44.75 for buying and UAH 45.25 for selling, with the euro at UAH 50.04 to UAH 51.02. Meanwhile, monobank quoted the dollar at UAH 44.80 to UAH 45.20 and the euro at UAH 50.35 to UAH 51.01.
