The US dollar exchange rate in Iraq has seen an uptick in recent days. In Baghdad and Erbil, market surveys indicate that the dollar is trading at higher prices against the Iraqi dinar. According to a Shafaq News market survey, the dollar was selling for approximately 158,000 dinars per $100 in Baghdad's Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges.
This represents an increase from earlier morning trading, where the dollar was valued at 157,250 dinars per $100. In Baghdad's currency exchange shops, the dollar is selling for 158,500 dinars per $100 and buying for 157,500 dinars.
In Erbil, the dollar has also experienced a rise in value, with exchange shops selling $100 for 157,900 dinars and buying it for 157,850 dinars. This increase in the dollar's value against the Iraqi dinar may have implications for currency traders and investors in Iraq.
