Dollar Surges Against Iraqi Dinar in Baghdad and Erbil

The US dollar strengthened against the Iraqi dinar in both Baghdad and Erbil on Saturday. According to market data, the exchange rate hovered around 154,000 dinars per $100.

In Baghdad, the dollar rose to 154,000 dinars at central exchanges al-Kifah and al-Harithiya, up from 153,550 dinars on Thursday. At currency exchange shops, it was selling for 154,500 dinars per $100 and buying for 153,500 dinars.

In Erbil, the dollar was trading at 153,900 dinars per $100, with a slightly lower buy price of 153,850 dinars. While these fluctuations may not be drastic, they are still worth monitoring for anyone invested in or following the Iraqi economy.
