Dollar Surges Against Shekel Amid Rate Hike Expectations
The US dollar has seen an increase against the Israeli shekel in recent days, reaching an exchange rate of 3.05 shekels per dollar on Friday.
This rise can be attributed to several factors, according to financial expert Mohammed Salama, who spoke exclusively with SadaNews.
The first reason is the increased likelihood of a rate hike in the US, which would widen the interest rate gap between the dollar and the shekel.
Additionally, rising regional tensions and the possibility of returning to war have also contributed to the dollar's appreciation against the shekel.
