The US dollar has experienced a slight dip in value against the Vietnamese dong on Wednesday. Vietcombank sold the greenback at VND26,400, down 0.04% from Tuesday's rate. Meanwhile, on the black market, the currency hovered around VND25,800.

The State Bank of Vietnam has raised its reference rate by 0.07% to VND25,598. This move comes as the US dollar is trading near multi-month lows against other major currencies globally.

Globally, the dollar index, which measures the US currency against six major peers, was down marginally at 99.65. The euro inched higher to $1.1577, remaining close to a two-month high touched earlier this week.
