Dollar Weakens Against Vietnamese Dong Amid Global Market Caution

The US dollar saw a slight decline against the Vietnamese dong on Wednesday morning. According to Vietcombank, the greenback fell by 0.15% to VND26,270 compared to Tuesday's rate.

The black market also witnessed a drop in the dollar's value, with it trading at around VND25,860, representing a decline of 0.42%. In contrast, the State Bank of Vietnam lowered its reference rate by 0.02% to VND25,611.

Globally, the US dollar remained rangebound in early Asian trading on Wednesday, with investors awaiting inflation reports from major economies ahead of the Jackson Hole symposium this weekend.
