Dollar Weakness Spurs Euro Strength as Equities Rise
The Dollar Index has fallen below 99.40 and is expected to drop further, potentially reaching levels as low as 98.50 or lower.
Eurozone currencies, particularly EUR/USD, are gaining momentum with a target of 1.1800 or higher, while USD/JPY may edge towards 160 before pulling back.
Equities are also being affected by the dollar's weakness, with Western indices such as the Dow and DAX expected to rise to 53,500-54,000 and 26,250-26,500 respectively.
The Bank of Japan's interest rate adjustments have kept the yen sensitive to yield differentials, supporting upward trajectories for EUR/INR and EUR/JPY towards 112.50 and 188 respectively.
