Eby Hopes for Trade Deal as Negotiations with US Show Progress

BC Premier David Eby has issued a statement on trade negotiations between Canada and the US.

The federal government briefed provinces and territories on talks with the US, which have seen substantial progress across strategic sectors, according to Eby.

While no agreement will meet all of Canada's expectations, Eby expressed hope about the possibility of a deal.

Eby stated that even if an agreement is not reached, BC will continue to pursue new trading partners and secure major projects to build a stronger economy for its families.
