ECB Reference Rates Anchor EUR/HUF as Volatility Looms
The European Central Bank (ECB) has published reference exchange rates for the euro against the Hungarian forint, providing official benchmarks for cross-border transactions.
These reference rates remain a core resource for institutional liquidity and transactional clarity in the EUR/HUF market. Currently, the pair trades at Ft364.677 with a modest daily gain, above its short- and medium-term moving averages but below the longer-term trend levels.
The Ichimoku Kijun acts as immediate support at Ft363.179, while the RSI is elevated at 65.302 indicating buying momentum. However, multiple overbought readings paired with neutral trend confirmation warrant caution for upside extension.
Over the next two to three days, EUR/HUF is expected to oscillate within a volatility band between Ft362.854 and Ft366.5, with a mild bullish bias due to persistent buying pressures.
