New Zealand's economy is regaining momentum, according to the latest forecast from BusinessNZ.

The report predicts solid economic growth out to 2028, citing several positive indicators. These include business confidence holding up, the Performance of Manufacturing and Services Indexes returning to a positive state, growing tourism numbers, and increased credit activity.

Chief Economist John Pask says that performance is improving across the board, but notes that there are still concerns about the upcoming election and potential policy changes. However, businesses seem to be moving forward despite these concerns.

Pask emphasizes that elections are important but not the sole determining factor for business decisions.
