European Stocks Close Mixed Amid Rising Oil Prices
European stock markets closed mixed on Tuesday as rising oil prices fueled inflation concerns amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
The pan-European STOXX Europe 600 edged down 0.05% to 649.60, while Germany's DAX remained flat at 26,007.63 and the UK's FTSE 100 fell 0.1% to 10,811.66.
Italy's FTSE MIB declined 0.1% to 52,177.47, and Spain's IBEX 35 lost 0.12% to 19,997.10. In contrast, France's CAC 40 rose 0.14% to finish at 8,317.98.
The continued disruptions around the Strait of Hormuz have raised concerns about global energy supplies, with Brent crude staying above $90 per barrel for a third consecutive session.
