Equinix Secures $5.5B Multi-Currency Revolver with 2031 Maturity
Equinix, Inc., a global interconnection and data center company, has secured a $5.5 billion multi-currency revolving credit facility that matures in 2031.
The Credit Agreement was entered into on July 27, 2026, by Equinix, as a borrower, along with two financing corporations, Finco 1 and Finco 2, as borrowers.
Under the agreement, Equinix may borrow, repay, and reborrow amounts under the Revolving Facility denominated in U.S. Dollars or in certain eligible foreign currencies, including Euro, Sterling, Yen, Canadian Dollars, Australian Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars, Singapore Dollars, Swiss Francs, Swedish Krona, and such other currencies as may be agreed upon by the lenders.
Finco 1 may borrow up to a sublimit of $1 billion in Swiss Francs, while Finco 2 can borrow up to a sublimit of $5.5 billion in Euro. The proceeds from the Revolving Facility will be used for working capital, capital expenditures, acquisitions, dividends, distributions, stock buybacks, and other general corporate purposes.
