Estonia's Inflation Rate Lowest in Euro Area for Second Consecutive Month

According to data from Statistics Estonia, inflation in Estonia remained low for the second consecutive month in July, reaching an annual rate of 2.2%. This is a notable achievement, as the average inflation rate in the euro area was close to 3% at the same time.

Economist Sulev Pert noted that Estonia's low inflation rate makes it stand out from other eurozone countries. 'This has been the lowest inflation in the euro area in July,' Pert said.
