Ethereum Price Tumbles Below $2,600 Amid Market Volatility
Ethereum's price has taken a hit after a volatile week of trading. The second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation fell to around $2,578.69 on September 20, down about 2.03% over 24 hours.
This decline follows the US Senate's failure to advance the CLARITY Act, which added uncertainty to the crypto market and contributed to a sharp sell-off in major cryptocurrencies.
The Federal Reserve's rate decision also put pressure on risk assets, sending Ethereum through a volatile trading session. The cryptocurrency remains below the $2,672 level that analysts are watching for signs of stronger momentum.
