EUR/AUD Trades Higher Amid ECB Price Stability Mandate
The Euro vs Australian Dollar (EUR/AUD) currency pair has been trading steadily above its short- and medium-term moving averages, indicating strong bullish momentum.
This upward trend is partly due to the European Central Bank's (ECB) primary mandate of maintaining price stability and protecting the euro's purchasing power among EU nations. The ECB's institutional policy framework shapes longer-term expectations for the EUR/AUD currency pair.
Analysts predict that the EUR/AUD will likely consolidate within a band of A$1.6097 to A$1.6259 over the next 2-3 trading days, with a strong probability of further upward movement. However, if price slips below the immediate support at the Ichimoku Kijun (A$1.6133), the risk of a downward extension would rise.
