EUR/CHF Bullish on Carry Trade Dynamics
The EUR/CHF currency pair remains in a bullish position due to its carry trade dynamics. The euro has been trading positively against the Swiss franc, despite being choppy during Thursday's session.
This is largely driven by the interest rate differential between the two currencies, with the European Central Bank maintaining a higher interest rate than the Swiss National Bank. As such, buying pullbacks in the EUR/CHF pair may be an attractive strategy.
One key level to watch is the 0.94 support level, which Christopher Lewis, a technical analyst at DailyForex, believes remains a floor in the market. If prices stay above this level, it could be a bullish sign for the pair.
Lewis also notes that the 50-day EMA may provide support if the price falls below 0.94. Additionally, some larger banks are predicting a target of 0.96 by the end of the year, which could contribute to further upward momentum in the pair.
