EUR/CHF On Verge of Golden Cross, Targeting 0.9450
The EUR/CHF currency pair is attracting attention as traders eye the 0.93 level, where a gap in the market occurred in January.
Christopher Lewis, a technical analyst at DailyForex, notes that interest rates favor the euro's upside and suggests the Swiss National Bank's reluctance to raise rates could keep the Swiss franc from strengthening too much.
A golden cross is expected to occur soon as the 50-day EMA breaks above the 200-day EMA, which would be a bullish sign for longer-term traders, opening up a move towards the 0.9450 level, an area of resistance in 2024 and 2025.
For Lewis, short-term pullbacks present buying opportunities, and he recommends entering long positions on the euro at 0.9320 with a stop at 0.9275 and a target of 0.9480.
