EUR/THB in Focus as Lagarde Speech Looms
The EUR/THB currency pair is expected to be influenced by several key events today. Yesterday, it closed at 38.27 in the Thai market, but its performance may be affected by the Eurozone's current account balance. Today, a forecasted decrease from the previous 35.1 billion euro is expected.
The EUR/THB pair may also be impacted by the construction production monthly (MoM) figure and ECB President Lagarde's speech. The market will look for signals regarding the inflation outlook and the ECB's monetary policy direction. A weaker-than-expected current account result could put pressure on the euro, while a better result could support it.
The technical analysis suggests that the price remains weak but is showing potential for a rebound from the 38.15-38.12 zone. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is in the oversold zone, indicating excessive selling pressure may have slowed down. If the price holds above 38.15, it may rebound toward 38.24.
