EURC Stablecoin Gains Ground as Eurozone Players Favor Circle's Token
Circle's Euro Token (EURC) has gained traction as a stablecoin for funding crypto casinos, particularly at Dexsport, which lists it on Solana. EURC is Circle's euro stablecoin, redeemable one-for-one with the euro and issued under the EU's MiCA rules. This means that deposits in EURC keep a bankroll in the currency you actually spend.
Unlike USDT, which exposes a euro bankroll to exchange-rate moves on the way in and out, EURC keeps the value in euros from deposit to withdrawal. According to industry data from late August 2026, the whole euro stablecoin market is around $835 million, with EURC at up to 63% of it.
EURC has been issued on multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, and Base, with Ethereum holding about 69.5% of euro stablecoin supply. The choice of network matters at the cashier, as each chain uses its own address and fee level.
