Euro Area Annual Inflation Rate Revised Down to 3.2%

The euro area's annual inflation rate has been revised down to 3.2% in August, according to final data released by Eurostat.

This represents a slight decrease from the preliminary estimate of 3.3%, but an increase from July's 2.9% and 2025's 2%.

The monthly consumer price index rose by 0.4%, with energy prices climbing 14.3% year-on-year, up from 10.3% in July.
