Euro Banknote Design Consultation Draws Over 10 Million Respondents

The European Central Bank (ECB) has concluded its public consultation on the design of new euro banknotes, receiving over 9.96 million responses from citizens across the euro area.

This represents a significant turnout, with approximately 2.6% of the region's population participating in the survey. Notably, two-thirds of respondents were under the age of 35.

The ECB has stated that it will analyze the results using standard statistical methods to ensure they accurately reflect the population of the euro area.
